					<description>Hi Jon-

Never met you, but I happened to google the name of my old friend Rachel Cyrus and I think it's the same one you mention in your blog. Is your Rachel a Duke alumna, from the Chicago area, who spent a semester abroad in London, and then spent some time in Africa after graduating from undergrad? If so, it's the very same Rachel I'm trying to reconnect with. Can you either forward her this message or send me her current email? I'd be much obliged.Hope you're still checking this.

Best luck to you,
Amanda McDougall

					<description>Ibrahima,

Thank you for your kind words. I'm very glad you will be attending Thunderbird. T-bird definetly needs more africans! Wow, you'll definetly see a difference between T-Bird and Cheick Anta Diop!

					<description>Hi Jon,

I just happen to be applying for enrollment at Thunderbird for Spring '06. I took a particular interest in your blog and I found it very well documented. I am a native of Africa, namely from Burkina Faso and have completed my undergraduate studies at Universite Cheick Anta Diop. I would like to commend you on the work you are doing at Sandaga Market, and all your effort to help promote the African culture.

Ibrahima, in Tempe, Arizona.
